Summer -especially if we are on vacation- is probably the time of the year where we are more open to learning, to discovering new experiences and, if possible, reflecting about who we are and who we want to be. I for instance measure the year not from January to December but from September to August, as I’m able to find more moments to think and re-connect with myself during Summer.

This is why I’m bringing what I call Pedro’s big four: one article, one podcast, one image and one video that will hopefully inspire us and let us know ourselves more. Self-awareness is the main ingredient of self-esteem, so let’s build it together.

Belarus athlete Volha Mazuronak suffered a nosebleed since the beginning of the European Championship marathon and managed to overcome it and win the race. But she had to face another challenge: a few hundred meters before the finish line Mazuronak made a wrong turn and still managed to cross the finish line six seconds ahead of French marathoner Clemence Calvin. Mazuronak showed us that we can still win despite taking some wrong turns in life
